| Christy Shae Marks (born June 1, 1972) is an American model and actress. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Marks originally studied for a career in journalism, but later became disillusioned with it and left the field. In 1993, she met her husband on a flight bound to Los Angeles, California. She first gained attention in Playboy as the Playmate of the Month in May 1994. During her stint with Playboy, Marks was a traveling representative for the company, going to ports of call such as Hong Kong and Denmark. After having her initial success as a Playboy model she dramatically increased the size of her breasts. Later she entered the acting arena, guest starring on such shows as Married... with Children, Renegade, Viper, and Baywatch. She also had been featured in advertisements for Molson Beer, as well as modeled for Frederick’s of Hollywood, Venus Swimwear, and other catalogs. She has also created two websites (see below): ShaeMarks.com and Shae's Playpen, the former being her personal website; the later being more of a cluster of other models. Marks has diminished her role in maintaining a web presence, as she wanted—after "endless Hollywood parties"—to spend more time with her family and more work in commercials". |
